NOTE: Mike's Technical Service will be referenced as MTS for the rest of the document.

I. The guarantee is good for one (1) week after date of completion of work/project, should the final invoice be paid in full by that date.
A. This guarantee is good for all work done. It does not include things that were not done. If there is something not done that should have been done, it is not covered in this guarantee.
1. If the work done was searching for and/or removing malware, the guarantee covers all that MTS did. It does not include malware that was not found or was added to the computer since the last day there.
2. If anything changed and brought back the same or a similar problem, the guarantee does not apply.
3. The guarantee covers only what MTS actually worked with at the time.
B. This guarantee lasts for one week from the last time MTS worked on the project before billing.
1. If the work was done on a computer at a home or office, the last time there would be the final day and time used to determine the guarantee expiration.
2. If the work was done on a computer in the possession of MTS, the guarantee period will start upon the customer receiving the computer.
3. If the work done was on a web page, the guarantee starts when the site/page (s) is/are uploaded to the web host server.
II. The guarantee does not apply for any hardware or software changes unless specified on the invoice.
A. The guarantee is not valid if somehow the hardware malfunctions, moves, is misconfigured, or is damaged.
1. Something may cause the hardware to not work as expected after work is done. This may or may not be related to the work, but nevertheless, it is not covered by this guarantee.
2. If MTS decides that the hardware problem is absolutely a direct result of something MTS did, MTS will attempt to fix the problem if MTS is told about it within seventy-two (72) hours of completion.
B. The guarantee is not valid if somehow the software is misconfigured, is missing, malfunctions, changes, or does not work to the customer's standards.
1. Sometimes software changes because of malware; these changes are not covered in the guarantee.
2. After attempting to remove malware, MTS is not responsible for fixing software and other applications that were affected because of said malware.
3. If MTS determines that software is missing or not working due to something MTS absolutely did, MTS will decide the appropriate action, but fixing the problem is not guaranteed.
III. The guarantee is invalid if the computer, website, database, or other project is transferred to another owner.
A. If the computer is sold, given, lent, or otherwise in someone else's possession, not named on the invoice or communicated with at all and there should be a problem after MTS completes work, it is not guaranteed at all.
B. If the website or other project is moved, sold, or otherwise in someone else's possession, the guarantee is invalid.
C. The guarantee only applies to the individual/company stated on the invoice in the "Sold To" section.
IV. The guarantee is subject to change without notice.
A. MTS reserves the right to void any guarantee with or without reason.
B. Terms and conditions may change and only verbalized or otherwise mentioned outside of this document.
C. Some special cases may require adjustments to the guarantee policy; these cases will have a verbal or written guarantee produced when necessary.
Please note that MTS does provide a week-long guarantee for all work done and hardware installed or removed. This is a free service included with the work and can be terminated by either side at will. The exact definitions are to be determined by MTS alone and are not subject to argument.
